Macbook Air.
I think this might tip the scale for me. I'm finally considering buying a Mac. Seriously, the thing is 3/4" thick. It's thinner then my phone.
Mixed reality robot!!
sadly my first thought was "Oh my god, this could revolutionize online gaming!" Then my 2nd thought was "wait... SEX BOTS!!"

British Columbia - The best place on earth
I'm going to move to BC and start a grow-op, then take a very long time to answer my door when the cops come.
B.C. judge rebukes RCMP for executing warrant with guns
And yes, that really is B.C.'s provincial slogan. Sure as hell beats "Spirited Energy"

Holodeck vs. The Matrix
Something I though about over breakfast:
As we all know, one creates a virtual world around you, the other creates a virtual world in your mind.
Besides the slightly invasive probe that goes into the back of your skull to enter the matrix, which do you think would win if say, Sony made the holodeck, and Hitachi made the matrix?
Oh yeah, and pretend that the matrix wasn't a battery farm controlled by evil robots, but strictly for pleasure, or at the very least, we're all as kick ass as Neo.
I'm sure we've already had this conversation years ago, but thought I'd throw it out there again.
I think I'd go with the holodeck, you can create any world imaginable, but you're in it while in your body... something comforting about that.
