Nick, Canada: Happy Birthday. Cheers to you both, enjoy! (I know, not the same day, but didn't get a chance yesterday to send anything)
Here's something about Manitoba Public Insurance demanding Car Immobilizes in all new and high risk cars, otherwise they won't insure them. That's probably not a bad idea, and by the sounds of it, they're shelling out some cash for people to get it done. Article also states that Winnipeg has, per capita, a higher car theft rate than any other city in Canada. Go Winnipeg!! Murder (at least it was), car theft, and Slurpee capitals of Canada/World. Something to be proud of :)

Gosh, so i read some more comments about the article above. One said that although the immobilizes stop people from stealing the car by traditional means, they end up either breaking into your house to steal the keys, or carjack you instead. Ouch, solve one problem to create another. Oh well.
Seriously, what we need is an "eye for an eye" system instead of the "revolving door" system we have now. Steal someones car, the victim gets yours. If you don't have a car, they get to break your hands. Let's see how many cars you can jack with two broken hands.
